Timely Insights into God's Word from Khandielese Reyes

“I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; PREACH THE WORD; be instant IN season, OUT of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.  For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.  But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.”  (2^nd Tim 4:1-5) 

Scripture tells us the time shall come when people will not endure sound doctrine, but will close their ears to the truth and seek out those who would satisfy their flesh by speaking that which they desire to hear.  Brethren, that time is NOW!  For countless have consistently denied and rejected the TRUTH of God’s word, and have sought out and found those FALSE teachers who would be willing to feed them with FALSE doctrines in order to satisfy their FALSE sense of security.  They are secure in their sins for such are lovers of their own flesh, rather than lovers of God.  Their false security is enhanced even more when they are under the doctrine of those WOLVES and VULTURES posing as ministers of the gospel who embrace their wickedness rather than rebuke, and co-signs their sins by teaching more or less the doctrine of “abstinence from REPENTANCE” whereby leading MANY to the very gates of eternal damnation!  

While reading these passages of scripture, I became sadden in the very depths of my soul.  Although I’ve read these scriptures many times over the course of my spiritual walk with the Lord, I’ve not been more heartbroken than I am this day as it is one thing to read and another to actually SEE, being in the midst while watching the scripture unfold in life before your eyes.  To witness professing believers actually RUN the opposite direction of the TRUTH, to the arms of a LIE and become slaves to such is beyond my comprehension.  It is as if rejecting the Lord’s intimacy, and choosing intimacy with the devil.   I find this incomprehensible that one would CONFESS the Lord Jesus, and sleep with the enemy by choosing to remain in sin and seek FALSE teachers that would pacify this manner of EVIL!   And yet, it is very visible this day.  As the Lord has sent many of his messengers, prophets who’ve declared by the word of the Lord warning after warning to REPENT of sin and return BACK to him and yet the words that have been delivered through HIS messengers have been casually pushed aside.  Ignored as if they were meaningless, having NO conviction of heart to the hearer!  For such have become complacent with their lives and wish to have it not disrupted by what they would consider as “dooms day preachers”, and instead would rather hear words of one who would add to their complacency.  They enjoy the speech of one who declares: “Eat, Drink and be merry, ALL is well” but so did those in the days of Noah.  They enjoyed this up until the day they were washed away by the flood.  They ate, they drank, they were merry living lives of wickedness and corruption and then suddenly DEATH was upon them.  They realized when the flood began that ALL the prophet of God had spoken, was indeed coming to pass but IT WAS TOO LATE, for the DOOR WAS SHUT and there existed NO MORE a place of safety!  Their sins were more important than LIFE, and yet their very sins against The Lord is what ultimately caused their DEATH! 

It is the same today and whether one desires to hear the truth or not, the Word of the Lord WILL indeed continue to go forth.  As we draw nearer to The coming of the Lord, as we draw nearer to the rapturing of HIS church, The message of repentance will grow stronger and stronger REGARDLESS if it’s displeasing to the ears of the hearer.  This is the will of The Lord, that ALL would REPENT and submit themselves under HIS authority, NOT MAN’S, but HIS.  Therefore, to the Prophets of God, to the Ministers of the Gospel of Jesus Christ our Lord who have been declaring and teaching THE TRUTH, I URGE you as Paul urged Timothy here in the book of 2^nd Tim 4, BOLDLY continue to “PREACH THE WORD”.  Let NOTHING prevent you from speaking forth the truth as the Lord has commissioned you to do so!   If no one desires to listen, nevertheless, go forth and “PREACH THE WORD”.  If you are persecuted (and you will be) and afflicted for your speech, nevertheless, go forth and “PREACH THE WORD”.  If you become the most hated among men REJOICE for even so were those who went before you, NEVERTHELESS, GO FORTH and “PREACH THE WORD”.   This is the hour as the word declares that they will not ENDURE sound doctrine, but nevertheless, “PREACH THE WORD”.  Be of good courage and persevere to the end.  The scriptures say: “Be instant IN season, and OUT of season”, thus be ready at all times to take a stand and speak forth the truth, even when it’s not convenient, or popular with many.   “Reprove” (Correct), “Rebuke” (Reprimand), and “Exhort” (Advise and warn) and do it ALL with “Longsuffering” (Patience), and “Doctrine” (The Word of God).  These ARE perilous and difficult times, we ARE nearing the end, you MUST THEREFORE WITH BOLDNESS “PREACH THE WORD!”  The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ and the Power of the indwelling Holy Spirit be with you this day and always!  YOU ARE the voice of one crying in the wilderness….PREPARE YE THE WAY OF THE LORD!
