 “I NEVER KNEW YOU”

“Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.  Ye shall know them by their fruits.  Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?  Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.  A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.  Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.  Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.  Not everyone that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.  Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name?  And in thy name have cast out devils? And in thy name done many wonderful works?  And then will I profess unto them, I NEVER KNEW YOU: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.”   (Matt 7:15-23) 

“I NEVER KNEW YOU”…. Those words would have to be the most devastating words one will hear from the mouth of Our Lord Jesus, and sadly MANY will hear these words as they stand outside the gates of the kingdom of Heaven seeking to enter.  I’ve often heard it said that on the day of judgment, many will be surprise to see who made it and who did not.  There shall be some whom while they lived on this earth were deemed hopeless by others and yet they may very well be the ones standing in the presence of The Almighty full of joy and thanksgiving on that great and coming day of Our Lord Jesus Christ.  While others who were thought of as GREAT men/women of God, Holy, and Righteous, for some they may find themselves standing outside the closed door knocking, desiring of the Lord to open the door and welcome them in.  But instead The Lord shall declare to them: “I NEVER KNEW YOU, DEPART FROM ME, YE THAT WORK INIQUITY.”  They would profess to the Lord their many good deeds, the many times they’ve prayed in His Name, and in His Name did wondrous works but it would make no difference at all.  For it is not their outward works that prevented them from entering in, the culprit will be the wicked intent of their hearts.   

Within the Body of Christ, there are many that have the “form” of Godliness, but have denied the power thereof.  One’s outward “counterfeit” appearance is unimportant compared to one’s INTENT of the heart.  What is unseen is far more important than what is visibly seen as they Lord knows the heart of every man, thus NOTHING is hidden from Him.  While many are able to deceive others through trickery, NONE is able to deceive the Lord.   

The Lord tells us here in the book of Matthew 7^th chapter to “Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.”  Such are men/women who “profess” the Lord Jesus and by all outward appearance would be considered Godly ministers of the Gospel, but their inward motives are wicked and sinful as they have no true desire to APPROPRIATELY feed the sheep but their desires lie elsewhere.  These are “self-made” ministers lacking the anointing of the Holy Spirit, but with enough alluring speech are able to deceive many into believing an anointing exists.  Their hearts are not centered on the spiritual welfare of the sheep in seeing that they are nourished properly for IF it were, they would preach the TRUTH of the Gospel in it’s ENTIRETY and not only the “portions” that would stimulate the growth of their pocketbooks.  These self-made ministers DESPITE the outward godly appearance, have used the gospel of The Lord Jesus Christ as a business opportunity to EARN a great profit.  This is wicked and evil in the sight of the Lord and although you would not confess this wickedness yourselves and REPENT that you may be saved from the wrath of God, I declare to you that UNLESS you repent you shall indeed hear these words from the Lord on the day of judgment “I NEVER KNEW YOU”.  Through trickery, you rob from the sheep and call it a “blessing”, the “favor of God” causing many of the sheep to stumble for they believed the words you spoke, and are now WORSE OFF than they were before!  When they seek counsel you tell them somehow they’ve erred, they lacked the FAITH but you yourself have NO FAITH for IF you did, you would believe the Lord for YOUR OWN NEEDS rather than demand substance from the very ones YOU should be watching over.  You are deceptive in every sense of the word and are NOT sent by God as His chosen vessel.  REPENT of this evil, else you will never enter into the kingdom of Heaven DESPITE the many sermons you’ve preached, or how many times you’ve used the name of the Lord to do “wonderful works”.  Your HEART is not right with The Lord, and the intent of your heart is all that would matter in the end. These false prophets the Lord speaks of here in the scriptures are doing the same things as many today in “prophesying” in the Name of The Lord, in His Name casting out devils, in His Name doing many wonderful works, etc. and yet HE not I declares that he will profess to them “I NEVER KNEW YOU: DEPART FROM ME, YE THAT WORK INIQUITY.”  Now, it is obvious their works is not the cause of His need to profess these devastating words to them, NOR are their works any indication they TRULY belong to Him.  But, the cause of he declaring these words to them is that they are workers of iniquity.  Their hearts are not right in his sight.  They are not men/women AFTER his own heart, but have a heart of deception.  Although outwardly they are able to shield the true intent of their hearts through good works, inwardly their hearts are ever so visible before the Lord and SOON their inward intentions shall be made known.  REPENT and truly surrender to the Lord.  There is NO amount of wealth, prestige, or notoriety worth hearing The Lord say: “I NEVER KNEW YOU” 

Then there are some (false prophets) that have been strategically placed in the church by the “father of ALL lies” satan himself, to keep confusion, strife, division, and separatism prevalent within the Body of Christ.  These men/women are most dangerous (spiritually) for their intent is far worse.  They’ve already chosen their fate WILLINGLY, and their desire is to entice as many as they could down the path of unrighteousness and sin through false doctrine whereby those who follow would receive the same end results as they.  They’ve already rejected the truth, yet will speak as if they are “living” the truth, all the while they’re “twisting” the truth, in hopes of leading many AWAY from the truth!  They will NOT teach repentance, but bluntly demonstrates the acceptance of sin declaring “it is okay, God understands, he knows that we are weak and but humans, he will forgive, etc. etc.” and MANY follow after this deceit.  Yes, it is true we serve a forgiving God, but we also serve a God who cannot look upon sin AND a God who will NOT be taken advantage of.  Although He is a God of LOVE, He is ALSO a CONSUMING FIRE!    Do we DARE tempt the Lord OUR GOD?   We are COMMANDED to REPENT of our sins and repentance is NOT sorry one day, and back to your old ways the next.  Repentance is TURNING YOUR BACK ON THE SIN IN YOUR LIFE and thus choosing to surrender yourself COMPLETELY To HIM and begin being LED of the Spirit, and not of the flesh.  He is deserving of our FULL cooperation and obedience!  But, these false prophets will not share this truth as it is not their desire you be set free, but rather that you remain bound!  Remember that praying a ritualistic prayer, or declaring your sorry over and over again will NOT remove your sin.  Sin is removed ONLY through the Blood of the Lamb of God, and we must FIRST REPENT of our sins, BELIEVE on the son of God, Y’shua and RECEIVE his gift of forgiveness and salvation……THEN, take up your cross and FOLLOW HIM.  NOT your flesh, but HIM.  NOT man, but HIM.   NOT you way, but HIS WAY for He IS the way, the truth, and the life!  His intentions and desires for you are ALL GOOD!  He wants the best for you and HE KNOWS what IS best for you!   

Beware of those who would teach opposite of the Truth and of those who would teach PARTIAL TRUTHS, for such are not following after the heart of The Lord!  Remember the Lord declared you would know them by their fruits.  These things shall not be hidden from those who desire to truly see.  When the spiritual eyes have been opened, the “fruit” is revealed.  Do not be deceived by the “shell” of the fruit.  Outwardly, it may appear to be good, and all the while inwardly it is rotten to the core.   Therefore, close your physical eyes and begin seeing with the spirit and in doing so, you will not be deceived.   

Remain steadfast in the Word of God which is TRUTH!
