Timely Insights into God's Word from Khandielese Reyes

I am the rose of Sharon, and the lily of the valleys. This Weeks Message- (scripture taken from King James Version)

"GLORIFY GOD IN ALL THINGS"

“But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.  And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins.  Use hospitality one to another without grudging.  As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.  If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as the ability which God giveth; that GOD IN ALL THINGS MAY BE GLORIFIED THROUGH JESUS CHRIST, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever.  Amen.”  (1st Pet 4:7-11)

“For ye are bought with a price: therefore GLORIFY GOD in your body, and IN your spirit, WHICH ARE GOD’S” (1st Cor 6:20)

“Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded on toward another according to Christ Jesus; That ye may with ONE MIND and ONE MOUTH GLORIFY GOD, even the FATHER of our LORD JESUS CHRIST.” (Rom 15:5-6)

The end of all things is near (according to the scriptures), and the coming of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ draws closer with each passing day.  In this hour,   many eyes are upon the church for they’ve all heard through our own speech, of our testimonies.  They’ve heard of the man called “Jesus”, whose come to save that which was lost.  They’ve heard of HIS love, and the “Love” that is suppose to be within the Church, as we’ve adamantly declared it, but as yet, have not publicly displayed it.  They’ve heard of our “alleged” oneness and unity amongst the brethren.  They’ve heard there is no judgement within the “Church”, but ALL are welcomed and received for God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.  Many have “HEARD” all these things, but what have they “SEEN”!  Has our speech, corresponded with our conduct?  How have we demonstrated Christ to the world?  Have we sought to “Glorify God in ALL things?”   For they have HEARD of the unity of the Church, but have SEEN division.  They have HEARD of the Love, but have SEEN only judgement.  They have HEARD that sins are forgiven, but have SEEN believers continue to live in sin!  They have HEARD the church are givers, but have SEEN only greed!  They have all HEARD one thing, but have SEEN another!  So whether in speech, or in conduct, in ALL WE DO, let us do for the GLORY of the Lord.  For eyes are watching, eagerly desiring to find some fault in that which have been preached, that the cause may be declared “fraudulent” thus persuading already weakened minds away from HE who has offered them the GIFT of ETERNAL LIFE.  Let us NOT shame the name of the Lord, but let us “Glorify God In ALL things.”  That we give none cause to speak evil, but through us His children, they may believe and SEE His Glory!

Brothers and sisters, we must remember always that we are HIS representation.  To be labeled “Christian” is to be “Christ like” and to conduct ourselves in the manner that He would, that our Father may be Glorified.  Even in the manner of prayer, we should seek NOT ONLY for the fulfillment of the need, but SEEK that through it ALL, God would be glorified, as the Lord himself declared in His word: “And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the FATHER may be GLORIFIED in the SON” (John 14:13).   Thus, let us not shriek in terror nor cower in fear when faced with tremendous obstacles, but rather declare with BOLDNESS and FAITH the word of the Lord and REJOICE for God shall be Glorified through it all!  Let us not run from great challenges or the testing of our faith, but rather run to them with the full expectation of seeing the Glory of the Lord.   When persecuted and shamefully treated, REJOICE and be GLAD!  Glorify God in it all!   You may say, “how can I possibly be glad in the midst of sorrow?”  My friend, YOU SHOULD BE for he has ALREADY DECLARED the outcome being victorious for you, IF you BELIEVE.   For His word says that many are the afflictions of the righteous….. now, if it ended here we would probably have cause for sorrow but it goes on to say,  but the LORD SHALL DELIVER HIM FROM THEM ALL!  Not that He would deliver them from “a few”, or maybe “one”, but HE SHALL DELIVER HIM FROM THEM ALL!!  There’s your reason to shout, there’s your reason to GLORIFY GOD, there’s your reason to be glad in the midst of sorrow,  the PROMISE OF DELIVERANCE!  So give Him praise and glory EVEN through trials and tribulations.  As it is written:  “If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for The Spirit of Glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is GLORIFIED.  But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men’s matters.  Yet if any man suffers as a Christian, let him not be ashamed, but let him GLORIFY GOD ON THIS BEHALF.” (1st Pet 4:14-16) and again “Blessed are ye, when men shall hat you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man’s sake.  REJOICE ye in that day, and LEAP FOR JOY; for in the like manner did their fathers unto the prophets.” (Luke 6:22-23)

When ministering the Gospel, let us not seek the praise of man, nor seek to be glorified by man and thus labeled as someone “great”, but let us use the gifts given to us WISELY for the GLORY OF GOD.  For what is a gift, without THE anointing?  It would then be mere idle words spoken only to be used for unprofitable gain, for self glorification, and to be praised by man.  But WITH THE BLESSED anointing, it is then used for the purpose of GLORIFYING GOD THE FATHER, and the POWER OF GOD, is made manifest through the yielded vessel of the Lord.  For even the ministering of the Gospel cannot be effective except by the ANOINTING of the HOLY SPIRIT working through the vessel chosen of the Lord.  Speech is speech, but when THE ANOINTING OF THE HOLY SPIRIT is placed upon that speech convicting power goes forth for it is then no longer man speaking but the SPIRIT of THE LORD speaking through Him for the Glory of God!

Beloved saints of God, In our actions, in our speech, in our behavior one towards another, in our work, in our preaching the word and sharing the gospel, in our giving, in our receiving, in our gladness and in our sorrow, in our sufferings, and in our tribulations, friends in ALL WE DO, let us seek ALWAYS to “GLORIFY GOD IN ALL THINGS.”

I love you all so very much. Have a blessed week in the Lord and remember: Whatever we do, do ALL for the GLORY of GOD, who ALONE is worthy of the GLORY and the PRAISE!

May the peace of the Lord be with you today and always…….
