"CORRUPT LEADERSHIP"

“For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error.  While they promise them liberty, they themselves are servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage.  For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them that the beginning.  For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the Holy Commandment delivered unto them.  But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.”  (2nd Pet 2:18-22)

The church is full of “Corrupt Leadership” much like the world’s leadership where both prey upon the weak and vulnerable, the struggling and desperate.  Both speak great luring and deceptive words, one to gain your confidence and vote, and the other to gain your finances.  Both shall receive judgement from the Lord, but the corrupt leadership of the church even greater for he shall indeed be held accountable for every one of The Lords sheep that have wandered away from the truth as result of the doctrine of lies that he preach.

Scripture tells us to beware of false doctrine and those who teach such but in order to distinguish the truth from a lie one must first KNOW the TRUTH, for man can take a lie and make it appear as truth for their own purpose and ill gotten gain.   This is the case for many in leadership in the church today and this is why it is important that every believer KNOW what the Word of God says for his/herself.

We give praise to our Lord for the few shepherds in leadership who truly love the Lord’s flock nurturing, feeding and caring for them as the Lord has commanded.  But, for the many that have misused their leadership role, that have robbed the sheep of proper nourishment, that have stifled the growth of the lambs and suffocated the flock with your doctrine of lies, know that the Lord’s eyes are upon you.  And unless you repent, you shall surely face great judgement to come.

Here in the book of 2 Peter 2:18-22, the Apostle gives a vivid description of a “false teacher” which fits the description of many today.   It is shocking to hear of some of the doctrine being taught in the church today and one would like to believe these “teachers” are teaching these untruths out of ignorance of the word of God.  However, many profess to be great scholars and theologians (much like the Pharisees), thus it is safe to say they are aware of what they teach, but are driven to teach not by the spirit but by their own flesh and the lusts thereof.  For it is obvious their hearts are not for the sheep, but their own desires for popularity, fame, praise of men and great wealth.  They tell man what they desire to hear teaching that there is no need of repentance, but that all sins have been forgiven past, present and future.   Once saved, always saved they proclaim, simply confess Jesus and no matter how you live your life, your sins will be forgiven.  This sort of doctrine will lead many to the gates of hell, and the one who teach such will be held accountable.  For Godly sorrow of our sins is what leads us to repentance thereby receiving forgiveness.  And if we indeed confess Jesus as being LORD of our lives, he then should be in control of every area of our lives and not we being controlled by sin.  Therefore REPENTANCE is of absolute necessity to receive salvation.  We then begin to live our lives free of sin through our SURRENDER to Christ Jesus our Lord and allowing the Holy Spirit to do the work in us.   Salvation is not a matter of simply praying a prayer, but salvation is a WAY OF LIFE.  The Word of God declares: “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new” (2 Cor 5:17)  Thus, sin should no longer be a part of our lives if we have surrendered to Christ Jesus.  Our old way of living should no longer exist, the old sinful nature has died, the new man has been made alive in Christ.  Thus, if any man/woman teach another that repentance is not necessary, and we can live our lives as we choose and will still make it into the kingdom, they are spewing false doctrine and will be held accountable for every sheep that feed upon this doctrine of lies.

Then we have the “prosperity doctrine” which is very popular throughout the United States, yet you hear very little of this doctrine preached by our brothers and sisters overseas.  The reason being is our brethren overseas have found TRUE prosperity in their relationship with the Lord Jesus.  They are fulfilled in Christ, and we in America seek more of fulfillment in “things”.  This doctrine in my opinion is the one doctrine which preys upon the weak, the vulnerable, the struggling, and the desperate.  Those desperate for a miracle in their lives will give all they have in hopes of having what has been given returned back double fold.  Yet oddly they continue to remain in a struggle despite their giving, while the one who preach this “doctrine”  increases in prosperity.  If this doctrine is indeed of truth, why are there so many brethren who are “obedient” givers still suffering, with many unable to make ends meet?  And what happens to those who have nothing (of monetary value) to give for there are indeed such brethren.  Shall the Lord turn a deaf ear to the prayers when they cry out to him in need?  I think not!  The word of God declares that he shall indeed supply all the needs according to His riches in Glory by Christ Jesus.  The Lord sees the HEART of the one who gives, while man sees the SIZE of the gift itself.  The Lord knows the heart of those who desire to give and yet are unable to but yet they give of themselves, of their time, their love, their friendship and fellowship and these things are far more precious in the sight of the Lord than the giving of money.  The giving of a “tithe” in the church of old was not always in monetary form yet you will not hear this preached in the church today.  And there is a big difference between then and now as to what was done with the “tithe” once given and the very purpose of the “tithe”.  Read Deut 14:22-29.  Many in “leadership” will try and argue the fact that Abraham received great wealth because of his giving a “tithe” to Melchizedek.  However if you read in Chapter 13 of Genesis, we find that Abraham was already rich according to the word in Livestock, silver and gold.  Thus, he had riches before he even gave to Melchizedek and he received those blessings because of his faith in the Lord, not in man.  The bottom line is God loves a cheerful giver not one who may feel obligated or one who gives out of feeling condemned by leadership.  One of the reasons why many give and receive nothing in return is because they give for the wrong reasons, the motives are all wrong.  One is not giving because of the need, but giving only with the expectations of receiving.    This is what is being taught, and it’s a dangerous doctrine that pulls people away from the heart of the gospel, intimacy and oneness with The Lord Jesus.  This is one reason the church is spoken evil of by the world today for all they see is  hunger and thirst for prosperity, and not a hunger and thirst for RIGHTEOUSNESS.  They see the “leadership” of the congregation wealthy by the riches of the members themselves, while the little sheep still suffer.  In the eyes of anyone, this makes no sense at all.  This was not so in the earlier church.  Their focus was on ONE thing and one thing alone, to fulfill the commandment of the Lord which He declared: “Go therefore and make disciples of ALL the Nations”.  The Apostles of Christ fulfilled this commandment, and many of “leadership” today are UNABLE to, as before they can make disciples of men, they must FIRST become a disciple of Christ Jesus our Lord and begin to truly FOLLOW Him, not the lust of their flesh!

The time is coming where “Corrupt Leadership” will not only be exposed by NAME, but will begin to collapse as everything that seeks to exalt itself, shall be made low and this includes man.   All your corrupt man made kingdom will fall, one by one until the stench of this corrupt leadership is no more.  If you love money more than you love the Lord's sheep, you are not fit to be called a shepherd.  Praying many repent this day before judgment comes.

I love you all so very much. Have a blessed week in the Lord and remember: Whatever we do, do ALL for the GLORY of GOD, who ALONE is worthy of the GLORY and the PRAISE!

The Lord be with you this day and always!  Shalom Uvracha (Peace and Blessings)……..
