Timely Insights into God's Word from Khandielese Reyes

ROSE.gif (9864 bytes)This Weeks Message- (scripture taken from King James Version)

“Then was brought unto him one possessed with a devil, blind, and dumb: and he healed him, insomuch that the blind and dumb both spake and saw.   And all the people were amazed, and said, is not this the son of David?  But when the Pharisees heard it, they said, This fellow doth not cast out devils, but by Beelzebub the prince of the devils.  And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand: And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand?  And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your children cast them out?  Therefore they shall be your judges.  But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you.  Or else how can one enter into a strong man’s house, and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong man?  And then he will spoil his house.  He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad.  (Matt 12:22-30)

It is a dangerous thing to call that which is good, evil, and that which is evil, good.  It is even further damaging to deny the presence of the Holy Spirit of God and profess the POWER of HIS SPIRIT is that of the enemy.  The Lord has declared in His word that those who blaspheme against the Holy Spirit shall not be forgiven, in this life NOR in the life to come.  “And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.” (Matt 12:32)  To blaspheme against the Holy Ghost is to simply refuse His conviction to repent of sin and accept forgiveness being cleansed by the blood of the lamb of God and to DENY His power as the Pharisees did here in the book of Matthew 12:22-30.

In these passages of scripture there was one brought to The Lord for deliverance as he was demonically possessed, so much so that the demon had caused him to become blind and mute in that he could not see nor speak.  The Lord, having compassion on the man restored him completely in that the demon was cast out, and the man sight and speech returned.  All the common folk standing around were amazed at what they’d seen and glorified God, but along comes the religious “know-it-all’s” preparing to cast judgment.   Immediately they attempt to discredit him claiming the power that cast the demonic spirit out of the man was done through beelzebub (satan) and not by The Holy Spirit of God.  Now, first notice one thing and that is they didn’t even have to verbalize their false claim as the Lord KNEW the blaspheme that was in their hearts and minds as the scripture says: "And Jesus KNEW THEIR THOUGHTS, and said unto them….” (Matt 12:25), thus even for one to THINK evil in his heart is spiritually dangerous and KNOWN by the Lord.    Jesus replied to their blasphemous thoughts by declaring that A House Divided Cannot Stand.

Let’s look at this closely and logically for even a man of the world understands that if one fights against himself, he cannot stand and is thus defeated.  The comment made by the Pharisees was indeed a foolish one even if viewed in the natural, logically.   Why would satan send a demonic spirit to oppress someone only to later cast it out himself.  If he did this, he would be warring against himself and his purpose and plan to destroy the one oppressed would then be defeated.  Therefore, the mere notion that a demonic spirit is cast out by the power of the one who originally sent it is absolutely ludicrous.  As the Lord said: “if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand?”

In the modern day “church”, unlike the Pharisee’s questioning the source of deliverance, there are not many who would question the power of God through a manifestation of healing or deliverance of one who has been bound.  When they see the blind eyes opened, the deaf hearing, the lame walking, the oppressed delivered, many believe and glorify God.  However, though they may not question the power of healing, many DO question the power of a prophetic word although both come from the same source.  A healing, the church will accept but a prophetic word of warning, is not likely accepted and in most cases declared by many as not being a word from the Lord, but words from the enemy.    Now, again let’s look at this sensibly and even logically.  When the Lord sends a word of warning THROUGH one of his prophets to the church to REPENT of their sins and RETURN back to Him, or else face the consequence of their sins and expect judgment, how is it that anyone can believe this word would come NOT from the power of the Holy Spirit, but through the power of satan?  Again, “A House Divided Cannot Stand”, and satan would be defeating his OWN purpose, if indeed a warning of such came from him.  This is foolishness, for why on earth would satan WARN the church to stop sinning?  His whole purpose is to keep the church (members of the body of Christ) bound in sin that they may be further pulled away from the truth, thus why would he warn of judgment if believers continued in sin?  His desire is that you REMAIN in sin and away from fellowship with the Lord, NOT that you should repent and be reconciled back to God.  Thus, why would a word of warning come from him?  Even in the natural mind this would not make sense, and yet many boldly come against the Lord’s prophets CONDEMNING the words of warning, and declaring such to be from the enemy, rather than from the Lord.   But, just as foolish as it were for the Pharisee’s to suggest a demonic spirit cast out of a man was done so by the power of satan, thus DENYING the power of the Holy Spirit of God, even more foolish and EQUALLY as dangerous it is for one to suggest a prophetic word of warning to the church is given not by the Power of the Holy Spirit, but through the persuasion of the enemy.  “A House Divided Cannot Stand”, a kingdom that fights against itself will end in ruin, two on the same team battling against one another DEFEATS their own purpose and ultimately ends up the loser, how can satan cast out satan, and why would he go against his own plan to defeat the church?  It is foolishly dangerous to call that which is GOOD, evil and that which is EVIL….good!

In a fierce battle one conquers over the other, one comes out victoriously and the other ultimately lose.  However, if TWO of the same are fighting against one another BOTH will end up in defeat as “A House Divided Cannot Stand”.  It will ultimately lose it’s foundation, and come tumbling down.

I love you all so very much. Have a blessed week in the Lord and remember: Whatever we do, do ALL for the GLORY of GOD, who ALONE is worthy of the GLORY and the PRAISE!

The Lord be with you this day and always!  Shalom Uvracha (Peace and Blessings)……..
