When looking in Ezekiel it seems to me that the wheels are symbolical to the word of God. They have "eyes". Well the book itself doesn't have eyes but the Spirit of God who authored and even numbered has eyes. He knows every thing concerning us and he has included everything a man needs in the Bible.
What could the concept of "wheel within wheel" mean. I think it's refering to the cycles of 22. 22 because it's according to the 22 letters of the Hebrew alphabet.
There are other cycles:
Cycles of 7 where the 8th is a new beginning. The 8th day marks a new week.
8th note in a music scale is a repetition of the 1st note.
Cycles of 12 are our clocks. A full day is 2 cycles of the small arrow on our clock. In fact in some customs, to say 13 o'clock and 1 o'clock mean the same thing because 12+1=13.
12 months make a year. 14 months will be a year and two months, only a faster way of expressing isn't it?
Cycles of 50 marks a jubilee cycle in the bible.
360 days marks a complete prophetic year cycle.
I mentioned in several postings like the psalm 119 posting concerning the alphabetic pattern. The book of Revelation has also 22 chapters. Revelation 3 is known to have a similar patern with the 22 verses.
So what happens if the numbering goes beyond 22? It starts from 1 to make another cycle.
But this type of search can seem like a mumbo-jumbo without the use of graphs. Example Passover is known to appear very frequently on #14. But the 2nd most high in appearance is in #2.
In this type of study there are "key links" which are links that appear nowhere else or in non other numbers. Like

You don't find this pattern elsewhere.
There are the regular "links" but you can find this kind elsewhere. They are not unique.
There are "spokes" which are 22 according to the 22 letters of the Hebrew alphabet. Since the alphabet letter are words as well, you find these words sometimes according to their numbers assigned to it. Like Revelation 10 mentions "hand", Revelation 4 mentions "door"...
There are unique things discovered which involves Gemetria. The phrase "I am that I am" is "AHIaH" 1+5+10+5=21. And where else do you find a big result of "I am" than in the 21st book of the 2nd cycle, the book of John! Jehovah on the other hand "YaHWeH" is 10+5+6+5=26 and appears frequently in Ezekiel in expressions like "they shall know that I am the LORD". LORD is substituted for YaHWeH.
Another example is "MeLeK GOIM", "king of nations". The value is 40+30+20+3+6+10+40=149. This combination appears several places but especially in Genesis 14:9 and Isaiah 14:9 but only in plural (kings of nations).
